People Unclear on the Concept

I heard a news report the other day that some percentage (23% maybe?) thought Bush's so-called "war on terror" was more important than the nation's economy.

Bush continues to throw money and resources where it doesn't belong on a hopeless crusade without doing anything to solve the anti-Americanism that continues to grow throughout the world. Meanwhile, unemployment is high, the market is stagnant, Enterprises continue to ship jobs overseas, etc.

So Bush will cut taxes and spend more. I'm not the most business savvy individual around, but a business plan where income is cut and spending increases seems to head toward a road called bankruptcy.

Oh, and I almost forgot. The projected 2004 defecit won't be as high as predicted. Bush claims that is a sign the economy is strengthening.

What? Someone didn't cash a check and the economy is improving because of it? It's a freaking multi-billion dollar defecit, you moron! You keep spending money we don't have - that's what defecit means.

God, the more I think about it the more upset I get. How can half this country actually like this dimwit?
